Northern Chile

Northern Chile is a bit other-wordly, especially the Atacama Desert. We felt like we were walking on the moon! And we went to Valle de Elqui a few times as it is a great long-weekend destination. We did a massive long-weekend road trip to Mendoza which is also great with kids. The drive is spectacular, especially the Argentinian side. But we did fall in love with Central and Southern Chile, so that is where we focused most of our holidays.
